The Ride a Dino listing says a hatch can be better in two different ways: speed and rarity. Speed is how you reach harder-to-find eggs. Rarity is why you collect rare dinosaurs. Those are the only comparison rules the developer has published. There is no official species tier list, and this site will not invent one.
Decide with a ride, not a name
- Hatch more than one dinosaur before you lock a favorite. One hatch cannot show you the difference.
- Ride each one along the same eggs you already know. The useful question is whether this dinosaur reaches an egg the last one struggled to reach.
- Leave the faster traveler equipped while you search. That is the mount the listing is talking about.
- If a hatch is rare and slow, keep it for the collection. The listing never says the rare dinosaur must also be the one you ride.
- If you do not know whether a result is rare, do not promote it. "Rare" on the listing is the developer's word. Fan ladders such as Common, Uncommon, Limited, or Legendary are not on the Roblox page.
What a duplicate is for
The listing does not say the game sells, deletes, or fuses duplicates. Until it does, a second copy of a dinosaur you already own is only a way to compare speed. It is not a confirmed crafting material.
Why there is no letter tier list
A letter rank needs a named dinosaur and a shared test. The public pages for this place id do not name the roster or print speed numbers. Ranking "the fastest dinosaur you currently own" as S tier would pretend a role is a species. Compare the dinosaurs in your own session instead, and read the Dinosaur entry for the published limits.
After you have a traveler
Put mutation into speed, not into a dinosaur you are only keeping to look at, unless a future Dino Riders! post says mutation does something besides speed. The current sentence is only a speed boost. Follow Mutate for speed, then return to Find hidden Dino Eggs.
